I make art about technology and technology about art.

My day job is making digital products, and I really love it: you can see that portfolio here.

My clients include Microsoft, Starbucks, SubPop Records, Nickelodeon, Disney, Adobe, the Democratic Party and many others. I've spoken at SXSW, San Diego Comic-con, the Seattle Interactive Conference, the Seoul International Cartoon Festival and many other venues about interactive art and creativity. My work has been featured and lauded in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, The LA Times, The Seattle Times, The Atlantic, Art Forum, Tin House and many other publications.

DESIGN NOTES
Harvard's Berkman Klein Center For Internet & Society contacted me about illustrating a comic for a book by Associate Director Matthew Battles and Director Jeffery Schnaap about Melvil Dewey and the continuing yet changing nature of the value of libraries to human civilization. As someone who owes libraries, and librarians, for much of my career and interests, I would have jumped at the chance to job for no money. Luckily, that wasn't the case. 💸

Also, a time-travelling father of library science. COME ON!
This was one of those projects that was very easy, for concept to execution.

Honestly, that's my whole note. Easiest client ever. I got to do exactly what I wanted. The End.
