Good Work: The Custodian

DESIGN NOTES

I've been having the same dream for more than 10 years. It features colossal wind generators, and a world that has been completely captured by social media, and the quiet work of the people presumably pressed into keeping a dystopia running.

As I started working on it, it occured to me that the piece is actually about more, too: obligation, and love and dedication and overwhelmedness and being on the person with a hand on the wheel while everyone else dances.

I really like how this one turned out, though I find that 90% of the viewers only understand the surface story. But the ones that probe are rewarded.
