DESIGN NOTES
When the Panama Papers and Cablegate ooccured in 2010, it hit a few of my sweet spots: national security scuttlebutt, diplomatic craft, and micro-narratives. Regardless of what you think of Wikileaks, the ability to a civie to peruse at leisure hundreds of formerly secret diplomatic cables was too sweet to pass up. Originally published for HiloBrow, and then for The Atlantic, my weird little scratchy comics were in front of movers and shakers in Washington for a few days. It was a weird feeling.
